Thanks to your unconditional support, North Central Co-op raised an astounding $26,756.34 on Fuel Good Day 2022, the most successful year to date!

On September 20th, five cents from every litre sold, plus 100% off the sales from our $5.00 car wash sale was donated directly to the Mustard Seed Edmonton.

For over 35 years, The Mustard Seed has been a safe, supportive haven for individuals experiencing poverty and homelessness. They offer services and supports to those in need with the goal of helping them make positive, lasting changes in their lives. Their new supporting housing building, Prairie Manor, offers much needed supportive housing units to those experiencing poverty and homelessness in the Strathcona Junction area. The funds raised on Fuel Good Day will allow The Mustard Seed to welcome Prairie Manor guests with move-in baskets as they move towards a life of wellness and independence.

We’d also like to give a huge shoutout to Ara, who won $1000 of free fuel by filling up on Fuel Good Day!

More About Fuel Good Day

Locally, over the past four years, North Central Co-op has donated over $84,000 to local charities through Fuel Good Day.

Fuel Good Day is celebrated at more than 400 Co-op Gas Bars throughout British Columbia, Alberta, Saskatchewan, Manitoba and northwestern Ontario each year, with each local Co-op supporting a community organization or initiative. This year, over $650K was raised across the entire Co-operative Retailing System. Since the event began in 2017, over $3.65 million has been raised.
