Celebrating 75 Years
January 21, 2021

North Central Co-op celebrates a major milestone this year—75 years serving local members and customers. Starting as a modest co-operative meat locker in the community of Stony Plain, Alberta in 1946, North Central Co-op has since expanded into Edmonton and surrounding communities. To celebrate, North Central Co-op plans to host an outdoor event this summer and has many giveaways and smaller activities planned throughout the year.

Dean McKim, CEO shares that, "It’s the support of our members and customers that have made us who we are today and that will take us in to the future." Adding that he believes "75 years is just the beginning".

Check back soon to learn more about the events and giveaways planned throughout 2021 or follow North Central Co-op social channels.
